Dr Katie Ayers
I am a Team Leader in the Reproductive Development group at MCRI. My research focuses on the molecular genetics of human reproductive organ development and disruptions of this process in children born with a Difference in Sex Development (DSD). This work aims to improve diagnosis and clinical management for these patients and their families.
I joined WiSPP to connect with like-minded individuals and because I believe gender inequity is a major issue in Australian science. I am delighted to be part of this amazing group that works so hard to drive better education and real change on this matter.
