Grant Support Program

Guided DIY - Asynchronous Learning

This program is timed to match the NHMRC Investigator Grant, but is designed to teach you how to use Design Thinking to prepare for a wide range of fellowship grants across various schemes.

This pilot program will be led by an expert facilitator and senior researcher from the precinct with significant experience in writing and reviewing grants. You will be provided with the activities to build your grant writing skills, and you will be supported with weekly feedback and expert advice. You will also be offered the chance to be connected to other program participants to support each other in ”buddy” pairs.

Over five weeks throughout September - October (2023), each week will involve:

  1. Workshop activity posted online using a closed Miro Board

  2. 30 min live check-in session

  3. Online feedback on activities

The purpose of the program is to provide robust, structured, and constructive feedback to aid participants in developing their grant proposals.

This program is completely free for participating researchers. Places are limited. Please apply only if you have capacity to complete the program (see program requirements below).
